⛵ SEA & SAILBOAT
The sea, a different way
Some people watch the sea from the beach.
And then there are those who choose to cast off.
For me, the sea is not just a landscape. It has been part of my life for a long time.
In Achillio, it is there in front of the house every morning. Just one look at the bay makes you want to head out to sea.
So, when our guests feel like it, I offer to help them discover this coastline differently: from the boat, moving with the wind and the sea.

⚓ Set Sail
We depart from the port of Achillio for a full day at sea.
A trip at sea is not just about going from one point to another.
It is leaving the quay, feeling the boat find its pace, watching the coastline slowly fade away… and letting time do its work.
Depending on the conditions, we stop in a small unspoiled cove near Trikeri, with time to swim, have lunch, and simply enjoy this day on the water.
Nies Bay is also one of those places I love to show guests.
And when the sea is calm, the journey itself becomes a destination.

🦭 A Still Wild Sea
In some parts of this region, you may also be lucky enough to catch sight of seals.
These are rare and precious encounters.
They are a reminder that behind the magnificent landscapes we admire, there is still a natural world living freely.
This is also what I love about sailing: you never know exactly what the day will bring.

🐬 When the sea has a surprise in store for us
There are moments that we don’t plan.
One day, while we were sailing, dolphins came to swim alongside the boat.
I was at the bow of the sailboat and was lucky enough to photograph them from on board.
Just a few seconds…
But it is precisely those few seconds that stay in our memory for a long time.
The sea sometimes offers gifts that no travel itinerary can foresee.

🏝️ Trikiri, another side of Greece
Trikiri is a small and unique island.
There are no cars here.
Here, you discover a different pace of life, quiet paths, a monastery, and that pleasant feeling of having left the usual world behind for a few hours.
I love taking my guests there.
And when we stop over there, I can also introduce them to a place I have known for a long time, run by friends.
These are the little things that do not always appear in guidebooks but give real meaning to a journey.

🌊 The sea as I love it
I don’t want to turn the sea into a spectacle.
I prefer to share it just as it is.
A calm day. A light breeze. A sail filling with wind. The sound of water against the hull. A cove where we stop for a swim.
And sometimes… a dolphin suddenly appearing a few meters from the boat.
This is the sea I love to help people discover.

⚓ From sailor to host
I spent a large part of my life watching the sea, learning to respect it, and understanding that it does not always forgive mistakes.
Over the years, I have learned one essential thing:
- at sea, you cannot control everything.
- You observe.
- You anticipate.
- You adapt.
- And above all, you respect the elements.
Perhaps that is why today I love those days when you can simply sail peacefully, without seeking performance.

🌅 One day at sea offered with your stay
For our guests who wish, one day of sailing is offered during the stay.
The itinerary and schedule naturally depend on the weather, the wind, and the season.
Because at sea, the plan must always leave room for the sea itself.
And sometimes, it is the sea that decides the most beautiful moment of the day.
